About this job
This is a solo, 1099 flatbed OTR role running 3000+ miles, with pay based on experience. You'll be out for about two weeks at a time with 2-3 days home, though drivers near Chicago can get home weekly.
Pay
- $0.90 to $1.20 per mile, based on experience
- Paid by direct deposit every week
Home time
- Typical rotation: 2 weeks on the road, 2-3 days home
- Drivers living in the Chicago area can get home every week
Equipment
- Solo flatbed freight
- Trucks are kept in good, well-maintained condition
Requirements
- Valid CDL-A license
- At least 12 months of driving experience, including flatbed experience
- Clean enough driving record: no more than 3 violations in the last 3 years
- No DUI within the last 5 years
- Able to speak and understand English
