About this job
PK Transport LLC, a small family-owned carrier, is looking for an OTR dry van driver. You'd run a 2020/21 Freightliner Cascadia sleeper (automatic) pulling a 53ft dry van, as a 1099 independent contractor with a flexible schedule and no forced dispatch.
Pay
- $330/day, which works out to about $2,000/week for up to 3,000 miles
Routes
- Northeast, South, and Midwest; no West Coast runs
Requirements
- No at-fault accidents or misdemeanor tickets (DUI, DWI, reckless driving) on your MVR
- At least 1 year of verifiable CDL tractor-trailer experience
What you'll do
- Safely operate the tractor-trailer
- Load, unload, and secure cargo
- Keep accurate trip logs
- Report issues to dispatch
- Inspect the truck before and after each trip
