About this job
Our company is looking for a CDL-A OTR driver to run dry van freight on a 1099 basis out of Columbus, OH. You'll cover 3000+ miles a week and run 2 weeks out with 2-3 days home, with weekly home time if you're based in the Chicago area.
Pay
- Pay ranges from $0.70 to $0.85 per mile, with top earners getting the full $0.85 CPM
- Paid out by direct deposit every Friday
- This is a 1099 contractor position
Home time
- Standard rotation is 2 weeks on the road followed by 2-3 days home
- Drivers living near Chicago get home weekly instead
Equipment and support
- Trucks are kept in good, well-maintained condition
- Pets are welcome on the road
- Support staff is available around the clock
Requirements
- Valid CDL-A with at least 12 months of driving experience
- Clean enough driving record: no more than 3 violations in the last 3 years
- No DUI within the past 5 years
- Must be proficient in English
