About this job
Our company needs experienced CDL-A drivers for steady OTR dry van runs. This is a 1099 independent-contractor role with drivers out on the road for three-week stretches before heading home.
Pay
- $0.65 to $0.75 per mile, both loaded and empty
- Your starting rate depends on your experience and driving record
- Paid weekly by direct deposit
- Structured as a 1099 independent-contractor arrangement
Home time
- You'll be out for three weeks per rotation, then home before heading out again
What you'll haul
- Dry van freight running OTR across the country
- Mostly no-touch loads, with some drop-and-hook available
- Steady freight volume and consistent mileage
Equipment
- Newer trucks with automatic transmissions, kept in good condition and fully equipped
Orientation
- Your trip to orientation is covered, and a hotel is provided if you need one
- Onboarding moves quickly
Requirements
- Current Class A CDL
- At least 2 years of verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Clean, acceptable driving and safety history
- Must pass a pre-employment drug test
- SAP drivers will not be considered
- Comfortable handling three weeks at a stretch on the road
