About this job
This is a CDL-A company driver role hauling freight over the road for our company out of Clinton Township, MI. Pay runs $0.60 - $0.65 per mile, and the equipment you run can vary by load.

What you'll haul
- Mainly dry van freight, with some assignments possibly involving refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, or vehicle transport depending on what's available
What you'll do
- Drive tractor-trailers on long-haul routes, following GPS and planned routes to pick up and deliver on schedule
- Inspect, secure, load and unload freight as needed, including hands-on handling
- Stay compliant with FMCSA and DOT rules, including hazmat guidelines when those loads come up
Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL with manual transmission skills
- Prior experience driving commercial trucks or making deliveries
- Solid grasp of safety practices and FMCSA/DOT rules
- A plus if you've handled reefer, car-hauling, flatbed, tanker, or hazmat freight before
