CDL-A OTR Dry Van Driver — $0.43–$0.58/Mile, Monthly Home Time

Swift Transportation's New Boston, MI terminal needs OTR dry van drivers to run coast-to-coast lanes with a mix of load types. You'll be dispatched out of Michigan with plenty of miles available.

Pay

• Trip pay runs $0.43 to $0.58 per mile, based on dispatched miles, route, and your verifiable experience

• You're paid weekly

• The top 25% of dry van OTR drivers at this terminal average $1,600 a week

• Starting July 13, 2026, new OTR company drivers are guaranteed at least $1,000 a week during their first 90 days of solo driving under the Guaranteed Pay Plus+ program (terms apply — ask a recruiter for the full details)

• After one year on the job, vacation pay starts at $800

Home time

• You'll get home on a monthly schedule

• Some holiday work may come up

Requirements

• At least 21 years old with a valid Class A CDL

• Strong backing skills

• No DUI in the past 10 years for CDL-A holders, or past 5 years for non-CDL-A holders

• No more than one on-road or DOT-preventable loss in the last 2 years, no more than 3 preventable accidents in that span, and no major preventable accidents in the last 5 years

• No serious traffic violations in the past year, and no more than 2 moving violations in the last 2 years

• Must pass a DOT physical and drug screen; no drug-related conviction in the last 5 years; no illegal drug use or positive/refused tests in the past 10 years while holding a CDL-A or CLP
