CDL-A OTR Driver — Home Every 2 Weeks, Paid Training for New Grads

Our company is looking for Class A drivers near Taylor and Detroit for an OTR account running east of the plains. You'll be out about two weeks at a stretch, then home for reset, and new CDL-A grads are welcome since paid mentor training is included.

Pay

• Weekly earnings run $1,200 to $1,400, about $62,400 to $72,800 a year

• Mileage pay begins at $0.55 a mile and climbs $0.01 each year up to a $0.65 cap

• Expect 2,100 to 2,500 miles weekly

• $15 per stop after the first one

• Paid weekly by direct deposit

What you'll haul

This account runs OTR lanes across the eastern states, with a mix of drop-and-hook, live loading, and live unloading. Dispatch plans your loads and operates around the clock, so the routes stay familiar over time.

Home time

Plan on roughly two weeks on the road before heading home to reset.

New to driving?

• Recent CDL-A school graduates with at least 120 training hours are accepted

• You'll train one-on-one with an experienced driver, and that training is paid

• Once training wraps up, you move straight to full solo mileage pay

Equipment

Trucks are assigned and take-home, either automatic or 10-speed, averaging about 1.5 years old, backed by dispatch support at all hours.

Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL from your home state, age 21 or up

• Either a recent CDL-A grad (120+ training hours) or verifiable driving experience

• Driving record with no more than 2 moving violations in the past 2 years

• No DUI or DWI within the last 10 years

• Must pass a DOT physical along with a hair and urine drug screen
