CDL-A OTR Driver — Hazmat, Sleeper, 3 Nights Away Weekly

Colours, Inc. distributes automotive and industrial coatings and needs a CDL-A driver to move product between company locations on over-the-road routes. You'll run a sleeper tractor pulling a 53-foot trailer, with three nights away from home each week, and pitch in on warehouse work between runs.

What you'll haul

• Automotive paints, coatings, and related supplies moving between company-owned locations

• You'll check orders before and after each trip to make sure shipments match what was loaded

Schedule

• Over-the-road routes with a sleeper cab

• Expect three nights away from home per week

What the job involves

• Loading, securing, and unloading freight safely and accurately

• Running forklifts, pallet jacks (manual and electric), and liftgates as needed

• Picking up warehouse tasks like receiving, stocking, order prep, and inventory organization when you're not on the road

• Keeping your truck clean, inspecting it regularly, and flagging any maintenance issues

• Lifting 50 lbs or more as part of the job

• Keeping delivery paperwork accurate and following DOT and company safety rules

Requirements

• Class A CDL with a Hazmat endorsement

• Valid DOT medical certificate

• Must pass a drug screen and background check

• Prior experience with forklifts, pallet jacks, and liftgates

• Comfortable driving manual or automatic transmission trucks

• Willing to help with warehouse duties beyond driving

• Able to lift 50 lbs or more

• A clean driving record and professional conduct representing the company
