CDL-A OTR Driver — $2,900–$3,600/Week

Our company in Schaumburg, IL needs a reliable CDL-A driver to run OTR street loads in a semi-truck. This is full-time work for someone who takes care of their equipment, keeps dispatch informed, and has a solid safety history.

Pay

• $2,900.00 to $3,600.00 per week

What you'll haul

• OTR street loads, picked up and delivered safely and on schedule

Requirements

• Valid CDL Class A

• At least 1 year of verifiable experience driving a Class A tractor-trailer

• Clean motor vehicle record with no recent serious violations and no pattern of preventable accidents

• Solid DOT safety history

• Current DOT medical card

• Must pass pre-employment drug and alcohol testing

• Must meet FMCSA Clearinghouse standards

• Dependable, communicative, and comfortable handling OTR street load work

Responsibilities

• Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections

• Keep dispatch updated on pickups, deliveries, delays, and any problems that come up

• Follow Hours of Service and other DOT rules

• Handle BOLs, PODs, receipts, and other paperwork correctly

• Keep the truck and trailer clean and flag any maintenance needs

• Secure loads properly when needed

• Act professionally when dealing with brokers, shippers, and receivers
