About this job
Our company is hiring a CDL-A driver for immediate start, running OTR routes with a mix of trailer types. Pay runs $1,200 to $2,000 a week.
Pay
- $1,200.00 - $2,000.00 per week
What you'll haul
- Tractor-trailers, dry van, refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, and dump or roll-off trucks
Responsibilities
- Operate commercial vehicles with automatic transmissions on regional or local routes
- Load and unload freight, sometimes using forklifts
- Deliver freight on time while following safety and traffic laws
- Run pre-trip and post-trip inspections
- Secure freight properly depending on trailer type
- Stay in communication with dispatch
Requirements
- Valid CDL-A with a clean driving record
- Experience hauling refrigerated, flatbed, and tanker freight preferred
- Comfortable with manual transmissions preferred
- Experience with forklifts for loading/unloading
- Understanding of safety and vehicle maintenance procedures
