CDL-A OTR & Regional Dry Van Driver — $0.80+/Mile, No-Touch

SRT is looking for experienced CDL-A drivers to run OTR and regional dry van lanes out of Laurel, MD. The freight is all no-touch, the trucks are newer automatics, and you decide your routes and how much time you spend at home.

Pay

• $0.80 or more per mile depending on experience, or 31% of gross; a 50/50 split is also available

• You are paid on every mile, loaded or empty, with roughly 2,200 to 3,750 miles a week

• A sign-on bonus is offered (amount not given) plus $250 for a clean inspection

• Detention pays $15 an hour once you pass 2 hours, a layover pays $150, and each extra stop or drop pays $20

• Breakdown pay, paid orientation and paid on-the-job training are included

Home time and routes

• Pick between being home every weekend or staying out 3+ weeks

• Lanes run mostly between the Lower and Upper Midwest, Pennsylvania and Maryland, and other states are possible

• Dispatch is never forced, and heavily congested cities are avoided when possible

Equipment and perks

• Late-model automatic trucks with an inverter, refrigerator and APU

• No driver-facing camera

• Fuel card, PrePass weigh station bypass and tolls are covered, and safety gear is provided

• Bring a pet or a passenger along at no charge

Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL

• At least 2 years in a tractor-trailer, including some within the past year

• No major moving violations and no preventable accidents in the last 36 months
