CDL-A Night Shift Company Driver — $0.64–$0.76 CPM, Home 2–3 Days Weekly

This is a night shift CDL A company driver job on a dedicated account, running 28' and 53' reefer trailers between a distribution center in West Jefferson, OH and the Chicago area. You'll be home 2 to 3 days a week with a full 34 hour reset.

Pay

• .64 to .76 CPM depending on verifiable CDL A experience, based on about 2,030 miles a week (roughly $1,779.20-$2,022.80 weekly)

• $10 stop pay, averaging 15 stops a week for about $150 extra weekly

• $20 per hour detention pay

• $110 per load for manual pallet jack unloads at downtown Chicago stores

Schedule

• Night shift, operating window 9 PM to 12 PM

• 7 days a week, no set days off

• Planned 14 hour shifts

Home time

2 to 3 days home weekly, with a full 34 hour reset.

What you'll haul

• Preloaded tri-temp and dual-temp reefer trailers, hook and go, no live loading

• Routes start and end at the West Jefferson, OH distribution center, delivering to downtown Chicago and surrounding suburbs

• You observe the unload at stores

Equipment

2025 and 2026 Freightliner Cascadias, automatic transmission. Trucks can be parked in a safe, secured location.

Requirements

• At least 3 months of verifiable CDL A experience in the past 12 months

• No current or former participation in the SAP (Substance Abuse Program)
