CDL-A Microbulk Driver — $35.50/hr, Mon-Fri Schedule

Our company is looking for a CDL-A Microbulk Driver in Waterford, CT to run daily scheduled deliveries of bulk liquid argon to customers on local and regional routes.

Pay

• $35.50 per hour

• Quarterly Safety Driver Bonus

• Quarterly Gainshare Bonus

Schedule

• Monday through Friday

• 6:30 am start time

What you'll haul

• Bulk gaseous products, including bulk liquid argon, delivered on set local and regional routes using a Class A hazmat vehicle

What the job involves

• Keeping your distribution manager or the customer's sales team informed of any changes affecting the customer

• Logging each delivery accurately and getting the required customer signatures

• Completing pre- and post-trip inspections, flagging any issues, and keeping the vehicle in safe working order

• Presenting yourself professionally as the company's representative on every stop

Requirements

• At least 21 years old

• Valid Class A CDL with hazmat and tanker endorsements

• Must pass our company background and motor vehicle checks

• DOT Clearinghouse verification from prior employers

• At least 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience in the past 5 years

• Able to lift 25-75 lbs regularly and occasionally up to over 100 lbs

• Comfortable working outdoors in all temperatures

• Must pass drug screening and follow safety rules and policies

Preferred, not required: a high school diploma or equivalent, forklift experience, and prior bulk/tanker experience.
