CDL-A Lowboy Driver — $30–$40/hr, 40-Hour Guarantee

Haul heavy equipment on a 7/8 axle lowboy for a regional operation based out of Marshall, VA. Most runs stay local, with occasional overnight trips (hotel covered) and a mix of early mornings, late nights and weekend work when you want it. The fleet is well maintained, and they want a dependable driver who takes pride in the job.

Pay

• $30.00–$40.00 per hour, based on your skills and experience

• 40-hour weekly guarantee, with overtime paid beyond that

• Expect to work 50–60 hours per week

Schedule

• Mostly Monday through Friday, with occasional weekend runs available

• No fixed shift pattern; be ready for early starts and late finishes

• Plenty of overtime opportunities

What you'll haul

• Heavy equipment using a 7/8 axle lowboy

• Mostly local routes with some longer regional trips requiring an overnight stay (hotel paid)

Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL with no restrictions and a clean driving record

• At least 2 years of experience hauling equipment with a manual transmission

• Required experience operating a 7/8 axle lowboy

• Must be 26 or older

• Able to pass a drug test

• Must be able to get to the company yard in Marshall, VA each day

• Comfortable with pre- and post-trip inspections, safe loading and securing of equipment, and following all traffic and safety rules

• Mechanical knowledge is a plus

• Responsible for keeping the truck clean and well maintained

• Strong communication skills for working with dispatch and customers
