CDL-A Lowboy Driver — $24–$28/hr, Local M-F Schedule

Our company, a long-standing Michigan-owned heavy equipment company, needs a full-time lowboy driver out of its Richmond branch near New Haven, MI. You'll run Monday through Friday on first shift, hauling heavy rental equipment to job sites and customers.

Pay

• $24.00 to $28.00 per hour

Schedule

• Full-time, Monday through Friday, first shift

• Local routes, based out of the Richmond AIS branch

What you'll haul

• Heavy rental equipment delivered to job sites and customers

• You'll load and unload the lowboy yourself and secure each load

What the job involves

• Getting deliveries to customers on time and letting management know if a schedule changes

• Handling the required paperwork for each run

• Basic upkeep of the lowboy, keeping it clean and current on inspections

• Presenting yourself professionally on the road

Requirements

• At least 18 years old with a high school diploma or GED

• Valid driver's license with a clean record

• Class A CDL with air brakes endorsement (automatic-only CDL is fine)

• Hands-on experience hauling loads and tying them down

• Dependable, punctual, and able to work both solo and with a team

• Capable of lifting up to 75 pounds on a regular basis

• Must pass a background check and drug screening

• A plus if you've worked in a related field or know heavy construction equipment
