CDL-A Local Truck Driver — Home Daily, Perryville, MD

This local CDL-A route runs out of a Lidl distribution center in Perryville, MD, with hand-loaded freight and a drive home after every shift.

What you'll haul

• Routes start at the Lidl DC in Perryville, MD and cover stops in Pennsylvania, New York (Staten Island) and New Jersey before heading back to the same facility

• Plan on 10-20 stops each week

• Weekly mileage averages around 1800 miles

Schedule

• You're home every day, with 2 days off in a row

• The operation runs all 7 days of the week

• Shifts begin sometime between 6:00pm and 1:00am

The work

• You'll be loading and unloading trailers yourself using pallet jacks, so expect to stay physically active during your shift

• Trucks remain at the yard, so you'll need your own way to get to and from the facility

• A good match if you prefer a hands-on shift over sitting still

Requirements

• Class A CDL, valid and current

• At least 21 years old

• A minimum of 3 months' recent experience driving with a Class A CDL

• Your own reliable transportation to and from the job site

• Ability to pull 75 lbs

• Not open to students, recent driving school grads, or trainees
