CDL-A Local Truck Driver — Home Daily, $29.31/hr + $6.11/hr Stipend

Our company is looking for a solo CDL-A driver to run local tailgate delivery routes out of Harrisburg, PA, hauling US Mail with a dry van trailer. You'll be home every day, with weekly pay and a full benefits package.

Pay

• $29.31 per hour, plus a $6.11 per hour health and wellness stipend

• Weekly average around $1,300

• Paid weekly

• Around 40 hours a week on average

• Paid training included

Schedule

• Operation runs 7 days a week, with 1-2 days off weekly

• Multiple shift start times available

The route and freight

• Solo driving within a 150-mile radius of Harrisburg, PA

• Local route, home daily

• Day cab tractors paired with 53' dry van trailers

• Tailgate deliveries of US Mail

• Pallet jacks and rolling carts provided, and our company trains you on all equipment

• Trucks are 36 months old or newer, backed by 24/7 roadside assistance and fueling at more than 800 locations nationwide

Requirements

• At least 21 years old

• Valid Class A CDL with the right endorsements for this role

• Verifiable tractor-trailer experience: 9 months in the last 3 years, OR 2 years in the last 5 years, OR 5 years in the last 10 years

• Must pass a our company drug test, background check, motor vehicle record review, and DOT physical, plus a our company road test

• Able to follow instructions and apply relevant laws, rules and procedures

• Because this account services USPS, you'll also need to pass a Federal Level 2 background screen and, for eligible males, confirm Selective Service registration

• Some assignments may require added background checks, employment/education verification, or customer-specific credentials

What the job involves

• Staying compliant with relevant transportation laws and company standards

• Spotting and reducing safety risks on the road

• Keeping accurate logs and paperwork

• Helping load or unload freight when the customer requires it

• Other duties as needed
