CDL-A Local Truck Driver — Home Daily, $28.60/hr Starting

Our company is hiring full-time CDL-A drivers for its Walgreens private fleet operation in Goodlettsville, TN. You will run relay routes overnight to Mt Vernon, IL and back, covering about 2,310 miles per week, with freight that's all drop and hook and no touch.

Pay

• Starting pay is $28.60 per hour, or $0.585 per mile

• All on-duty, non-driving time pays at the $28.60/hr starting rate

• Weekly pay is guaranteed at a minimum of 40 times your hourly rate

• Raises come at 6, 12, 18, and 24 months

• Paid weekly

• Refer a driver and earn $1,500-$2,500 per hire (limited time)

Schedule and home time

• Monday through Friday, third shift, with start times in the early evening (4pm-6pm)

• You're home every day

• A few times a year (2-4 times), you'll cover peddle routes for drivers out on vacation or sick leave, making tailgate deliveries to Walgreens stores in and around Goodlettsville using a roller system

• Layovers come with a hotel room; trucks have no sleeper bunk

What you'll haul

• Line haul freight for Walgreens, no touch and all drop and hook

• When covering peddle routes, you'll unload tailgated freight using conveyor rollers

Requirements

• Current Class A CDL

• At least 21 years old

• One year of verifiable tractor-trailer experience, or 6 months plus a certificate from an accredited CDL school

• Doubles certification

• Able to unload tailgated freight via conveyor rollers

• Able to lift, push, pull, and carry up to 75 pounds

• Must meet all DOT requirements

• A complete 10-year DOT work history is needed when you apply
