About this job
Our company is looking for a CDL-A driver for a dedicated local route out of the Wallingford, CT area. You'll be home every day, running no-touch freight with mostly drop-and-hook loads.
Pay
- Day shift: $24.00 per hour
- Night shift: $26.00 per hour
- Typical weekly earnings: $1,320 to $1,560
- Guaranteed raises over time, with extra earning potential if you pick up a weekend or sixth day
Home time
You'll be home daily on this dedicated local run.
What you'll haul
- Freight is 100% no-touch, with about 80% drop-and-hook
- Covers Dry Van, Reefer, Container, Flatbed and/or Tanker loads
- Routes run through NY, CT, MA, RI, NH, ME and NJ (as far south as Burlington, NJ) - you need to be comfortable traveling into NJ
- Both day and night shifts are available
Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL
- At least 9 months of verifiable Class A driving experience within the past 3 years
- Experience with Dry Van, Reefer, Container, Flatbed and/or Tanker equipment
- Clean, safe driving history
