About this job
Our company is looking for a CDL-A driver for a dedicated local route out of the Wallingford, CT area, with home time every day. Freight is essential and steady, and pay is predictable.
Pay
- Day shift starts at $24.00 per hour
- Night shift starts at $26.00 per hour
- Typical weekly earnings range from $1,320 to $1,560
- Guaranteed rate increases over time, with the chance to boost pay further by picking up a weekend or sixth shift
Home time
You're back home every day on this route.
What you'll haul
- Freight is 100% no-touch, with about 80% drop and hook
- Your run covers NY, CT, MA, RI, NH, ME and NJ (you'll need to be comfortable traveling as far south as Burlington, NJ)
- Choose between day and night shift schedules
Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL
- At least 9 months of verifiable Class A driving experience within the past 3 years
- Experience with dry van, reefer, container, flatbed, and/or tanker equipment
- Steady work history driving Class A trucks
- Clean, safe driving record
