About this job
Our company is hiring a local CDL-A driver in Bowling Green, OH for daytime routes that get you home every day. You'll run local deliveries, handling some touch freight along the way.
Schedule
- Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm
- Home daily
Pay and bonuses
- Starting pay of $34.00, with overtime available after 40 hours worked in a week
- $3,000 referral bonus, paid out per company guidelines and eligibility rules
What you'll haul
You'll drive both on-site and on public roads, delivering freight for customers. This role involves some touch freight.
What the job involves
- Operating safely and following all safety rules
- Completing regular vehicle inspections
- Staying in contact with dispatch
Requirements
- Valid CDL-A with a clean enough driving record (acceptable MVR)
- At least 6 months of CDL driving experience in similar or larger equipment within the past 3 years
- Minimum age of 18 or 21, depending on role requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Experience with different trailer types (tankers, vans, flatbeds) is a plus
