About this job
Our company is looking for a solo CDL-A driver to run local, no-touch freight routes out of Nashville, TN, with home time every day and weekly pay.
Pay
- Guaranteed minimum of $1355 per week, paid weekly
- Shutdown bonus of $2000 within your first year
- Quarterly safety bonus of $250, paid four times a year
- Paid training while you get up to speed
Home time and schedule
- Local routes with home daily
- Work Monday through Friday or Tuesday through Saturday
- Start time (AM or PM) depends on the route you bid on
What you'll haul
- Solo runs delivering auto parts to TN, KY, IN, MS, AL and AR
- No-touch freight
- Day cab automatic tractor pulling a 53' dry van
- our company trains you on the equipment, but strong backing skills are needed
- Trucks are 36 months old or newer, backed by 24/7 roadside assistance and fueling at more than 800 maintenance locations nationwide
Requirements
- At least 21 years old
- Valid Class A CDL with the right endorsements
- Verifiable tractor-trailer experience: 9 months in the last 3 years, or 2 years in the last 5 years, or 5 years in the last 10 years
- Must pass a drug test, background and motor vehicle check (including prior employer drug and alcohol verification for the last 3 years), DOT physical, and a our company road test
- Able to follow written and verbal instructions and apply relevant laws, rules and procedures
- Some assignments may require extra screening, such as employment or education checks, driving record review, a road test, or customer badging
On the job, you'll keep accurate logs, follow safety rules, watch for and address hazards, and help load or unload freight if the customer requires it.
