CDL-A Local Tanker Driver — Home Daily, Avg $126,000/Year

Our company is hiring a local Class A Bulk Tanker Driver in Stockertown, PA, to haul industrial gases like liquid nitrogen, liquid oxygen, liquid argon, CO2, and hydrogen to customer sites in a tractor trailer tanker. You'll be home every day on a 5 days on, 2 days off schedule, and no prior tanker experience is required since paid training is provided.

Pay

• Drivers average $126,000 per year

• Weekly pay by direct deposit

Home time

• Home daily, working 5 days on and 2 days off

What you'll haul

• Cryogenic and industrial gases including liquid nitrogen, liquid oxygen, liquid argon, CO2, and hydrogen, delivered by tractor trailer tanker

• Some deliveries go to government sites and other locations with strict background check and security requirements

What you'll do

• Complete pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report any issues

• Hook and unhook trailers (drop and hook) as needed

• Connect and disconnect transfer hoses, handling cryogenic tanks, hoses, and fittings safely

• Watch pressure and temperature readings while unloading to keep things safe

• Follow all safety rules when loading, unloading, and handling these gases

• Keep hazardous materials paperwork in line with DOT rules

• Keep accurate logs and shipping records per DOT and company policy

• Flag vehicles that need repair or maintenance

• Work well with coworkers and customers to get the job done

Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL

• High school diploma or GED

• Either 3+ years of tractor-trailer driving experience or 2+ years of tanker trailer experience

• Must be willing to stay overnight when needed
