CDL-A Local Shuttle Driver — Home Daily, $28/hr

Our company is looking for a CDL-A driver to run a local shuttle route out of Naperville, IL, getting you home every day. The freight is no-touch general freight, hauled with a day cab and 53' dry van swing door trailer.

Pay

• $28.00 per hour, paid weekly

• Drivers on this account typically bring home $1,300 or more per week

• At least 40 hours a week, with overtime available

• Paid training included

Schedule

• Monday through Friday

• Start times fall between 5am and 7am, sometimes earlier

• Local shuttle route with daily home time

Equipment and freight

• Day cab tractors paired with 53' dry van swing door trailers

• Trucks are 36 months old or newer, backed by 24/7 roadside assistance and fueling at more than 800 locations nationwide

• Hauling no-touch general freight

• our company provides training on all the equipment you'll use

Requirements

• At least 21 years old

• Valid Class A CDL with a tanker endorsement

• Must pass our company's drug test, background check, motor vehicle check, and DOT physical, plus a road test

• Verification of drug and alcohol history from employers over the past 3 years

• Tractor-trailer experience needed: 9 months in the last 3 years, OR 2 years in the last 5 years, OR 5 years in the last 10 years

• Able to follow instructions and apply relevant laws, rules, and procedures

• Some assignments may require added screening such as employment/education checks or customer-specific background and badging requirements

What you'll be doing

• Keeping up with federal and state rules, regulations, and standards

• Spotting and handling safety hazards

• Keeping accurate logs and records

• Loading or unloading freight when the customer requires it

• Other duties as assigned
