About this job
Our company is looking for a CDL-A driver to run a local, home-daily shuttle route out of West Chicago, IL. You'll haul no-touch consumer goods freight on a consistent Monday through Friday schedule, with full training provided on the equipment.
Pay
- $28.85 per hour, paid weekly
- our company reports drivers on this account earn $1154 or more per week
- At least 40 hours scheduled per week

Schedule and home time
- Monday through Friday, starting at 3 PM
- Local shuttle route with daily home time
What you'll haul
- No-touch shuttle freight consisting of consumer goods
- Day cab tractor paired with a 53' dry van trailer that has a swing door
- Trucks are 36 months old or newer, with access to 24/7 roadside maintenance and fueling at more than 800 locations nationwide
Requirements
- At least 21 years old
- Valid Class A CDL with the endorsements the role requires
- Verifiable tractor-trailer experience: 9 months in the last 3 years, or 2 years in the last 5 years, or 5 years in the last 10 years
- Must pass a DOT physical, road test, background check, and drug and alcohol screening, including verification from past employers covering the last 3 years
- Comfortable following written and verbal instructions and applying relevant laws, rules and procedures
- Some assignments may require added screening, such as employment or education checks, a driving record review, a road test, or customer-specific badging
Responsibilities
- Follow applicable federal, state and company safety rules and procedures
- Spot and address safety hazards
- Keep accurate logs and records
- Load or unload freight when the customer requires it
- Handle other assigned tasks
