CDL-A Local Rendering Truck Driver — Home Daily, $78,000/Year

Our company is hiring a local CDL-A driver to haul rendering loads near Broadway, VA. You'll run drop-and-hook routes from area processing plants to the Broadway rendering plant and be home every day.

Pay

• Earn $78,000 per year

• Daily minimum of $230

• Downtime pay of $15 per hour after the first hour

• Breakdown pay at $12 per hour, up to 8 hours

• Paid anniversary time

• $3,000 retention bonus

• 6 paid holidays

Home time and schedule

• Home daily

• Work week runs Monday through Friday, 5 to 6 days, with occasional weekend work as needed

What you'll haul

• Rendering freight hauled in open-top trailers pulled by Kenworth trucks

• All loads are drop and hook

• Routes run locally between area processing plants and the Broadway, VA rendering plant

• You'll need to cross-train in live haul and hatchery work

Requirements

• Minimum age 21

• CDL-A with at least 1 year of tractor-trailer experience, including 48 to 53 foot trailers

• Drivers with less than a year of experience can join a mentor and training program
