CDL-A Local Rendering Truck Driver — Home Daily, $78,000/Year

Our company needs a local CDL-A driver to haul rendering loads near Broadway, VA. You'll be home every day, running drop-and-hook routes from area processing plants to the Broadway rendering plant.

Pay

• $78,000 per year

• Daily minimum of $230

• Downtime pay of $15 per hour, starting after the first hour

• Breakdown pay of $12 per hour, up to 8 hours

• 6 paid holidays and paid anniversary time

• $3,000 retention bonus

• Referral bonus up to $3,100 per driver: $50 weekly during your referred driver's first year, plus a $500 bonus at their 3-month mark

Home time and schedule

• Home daily

• 5-6 day work weeks, Monday through Friday with occasional weekend work as needed

What you'll haul

• Rendering freight in open-top trailers, pulled by Kenworth trucks

• 100% drop and hook

• Local runs from nearby processing plants to the Broadway, VA rendering facility

• You'll need to cross-train in live haul and hatchery work

Requirements

• Age 21 or older

• CDL-A with at least 1 year of tractor trailer experience, including 48'-53' trailers

• Less than a year of experience? Mentor and training programs are available
