CDL-A Local/Regional Driver — Home Daily, $5,000 Sign-On Bonus

Pearson Logistics is looking for CDL-A drivers to run local and regional routes out of Grand Rapids, MI, delivering to Michigan, Illinois, Ohio, Indiana and Wisconsin. Trucks roll out between 3am and 10am, and you'll be back home the same day.

Pay

• Earn $60,000 to $120,000 per year, or $25.00+ per hour depending on experience for local, same-day runs

• Regional runs pay up to $0.60+ per mile based on experience (mileage pay ranges from $0.50 to $0.60 per mile across routes)

• $5,000 sign-on bonus, paid out over your first 12 months

• $4,000 safety and performance bonus, paid in $1,000 installments every 3 months

• Detention pay kicks in hourly after 3 hours

• Per diem pay for downtime

• Stop pay of $25.00 to $75.00 per location, with possible added detention pay

Home time

• Local and regional routes get you home the same day you leave

• Choose between 20 and 45+ hours of work each week

• Schedule stays consistent year-round

What you'll haul

• You'll run day cabs and sleeper tractor-trailers

• Routes involve refrigerated reefer trailers, so familiarity with reefer equipment matters

• The company assigns you a new truck

Requirements

• Valid CDL-A with at least 1 year of driving experience

• Minimum age 21

• Comfortable with DOT and Hours of Service rules

• Able to read and write in English

• Able to lift, push or move items up to 50 lbs, and to bend and twist as needed

• Willing to work in a range of weather conditions

• Responsible for handling delivery paperwork and proof of delivery, staying in daily contact with dispatch, inspecting your vehicle, and keeping it clean
