About this job
This is a local, dedicated intermodal container job based in Charlotte, NC. You'll be home every day, with both day and night schedules available.
Pay
- Average weekly pay of $1,400, which works out to roughly $72,800 a year
- Expect to run about 1,500 miles weekly
- Pay is set by the account, and no bonus is offered
What you'll haul
- Dedicated container freight for a local intermodal account
- You'll make several container connections over the course of a shift
- Mix of drop and hook, live loading, live unloading, and preloaded trailers
- Runs on container chassis equipment
Schedule
- Both day and night shifts are available
- Your schedule depends on the account's needs, with multiple container moves throughout the shift
Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL
- At least 3 months of verifiable Class A driving experience
- Willing to work either day or night shifts
- Able to manage container and intermodal work
- Clean driving record
- Current DOT medical card
- SAP drivers will not be considered
