CDL-A Local Intermodal Driver — Home Daily, $1,100-$1,400/Week

This is a home daily intermodal position out of the Columbus terminal, hauling containers to and from the rail ramps in Lockbourne, Toledo and Cincinnati. You'll run drop and hook with some live load/unload, all no-touch freight, on a dedicated account with steady weekly miles.

Pay

• Weekly average of $1,100.00 - $1,400.00

• Paid per load plus per mile: $40 per load and $0.61 cpm

• Typically 3-4 loads a day

• About 1,500 dedicated miles per week

Schedule

• Shifts run 10-12 hours, starting either 4am-8am or 4pm-8pm

• Choose Sunday-Thursday or Tuesday-Saturday

What you'll haul

• Intermodal containers moving between the rail ramps and local customers

• No-touch freight, drop and hook with occasional live load/unload

Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL

• At least 6 months of tractor trailer experience (53-foot trailers) within the last year - dump truck and garbage truck experience doesn't count

• No accidents or incidents in the past year

• No termination from your last driving job

• Your CDL address must match the hiring area, and you need to live within 50 miles of the Columbus terminal

• Hair follicle drug screen required; SAP drivers not accepted
