About this job
This is a local CDL-A driving job hauling dedicated retail freight for a grocery account based out of Fredericksburg, VA. You'll be home every day, work a five-day week including weekends, and get two consecutive days off.
Pay
- Average weekly pay around $1,700, with top earners making up to $1,800 a week
- Average annual pay around $86,892, up to $90,220 for top performers
- Pay is based on mileage (CPM) plus stop pay
Home time
- Home daily
- Five-day schedule, including weekends, with two consecutive days off
- Currently hiring for night shift
What you'll haul
- Dedicated local retail freight, about 1,300 miles per week
- Deliveries across Virginia and Maryland
- Automatic-transmission trucks pulling 53-foot trailers
- You'll load and unload using an electric pallet jack and bring returned freight back to the distribution center
Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL
- At least 3 years of driving experience
- Clean driving record
- Valid DOT medical card
- No SAP drivers
- Must have reliable personal transportation to commute to the Fredericksburg facility daily
