CDL-A Local Driver — Home Daily

Our company is hiring company CDL-A drivers for its private fleet in Perrysburg, OH. This is a local, day-cab job with a five-day schedule that gets you home every night.

Pay

• $29.45 to $31.45 an hour

• Weekly earnings average $1,750 to $1,950, and the posting says drivers can earn $95K+ a year

• Your pay rate and weekly guarantee go up at 6, 12, 18 and 24 months

• Paid orientation and a $5,000 sign-on bonus

• $1,500 for referring a friend

What you'll do

• Make store deliveries, peddle routes and relay runs, assigned as needed

• Unload at Walgreens stores in and around Perrysburg using a roller system at the tailgate

• Work mostly Tuesday through Saturday in a day cab

Home time

• Home virtually every night

• Newer drivers may have a layover during the week, with a company-paid hotel (no sleeper bunk)

Requirements

• CDL-A with 1 year of verifiable tractor-trailer experience, or 6 months plus a certificate from an accredited CDL school

• At least 21 years old

• Able to meet all DOT requirements

• Able to push, pull and carry up to 50 lbs and tailgate freight with roll-off conveyors

• Doubles endorsement is a plus

• Stable work history over the past 3 years
