CDL-A Local Driver — Home Daily, $34.00/hr

GXO is looking for a CDL-A driver to run local routes out of New Albany, OH on 1st shift, Monday through Friday, 7:30am to 4:30pm. You'll be home every day after your shift.

Pay

• Starting at $34.00 per hour

• Overtime pay once you work past 40 hours in a week

• $3,000 referral bonus for you and the person you refer, if they're hired

What you'll haul

• Tractor trailer routes on-site and on public roads

• This is a touch-freight role, so you'll handle electric pallet jacks

What the job involves

• Operating the truck safely and following all safety rules

• Doing routine vehicle inspections

• Staying in regular contact with dispatch

Requirements

• At least 6 months of CDL experience in the last 3 years operating equipment the same size or larger than what's used here

• Minimum age of 18 or 21, depending on the role

• Valid CDL-A license with a clean driving record

• Hazmat and tanker endorsements if the position calls for them

• Some requirements may vary by site

Nice to have:

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Experience pulling different trailer types, like tanks, vans and flatbeds
