About this job
Our company is hiring a local CDL-A driver in Manassas, VA for 1st shift, Monday through Friday, 9:00am to 5:30pm. You'll run local routes with a tractor and 53 ft trailer, touching freight, and you'll be home every day.
Pay
- Starting pay is $30.50 per hour
- Overtime pay kicks in after 40 hours worked in a week
- $3000 referral bonus available
Home time
This is a home-daily position with a set 1st shift schedule, Monday through Friday.
What you'll haul
- You'll operate a tractor with a 53 ft trailer, driving both around the site and on public roads
- This is a touch-freight role
- Daily duties include safe driving, following all safety rules, doing routine vehicle checks, and staying in contact with dispatch
Requirements
- At least 6 months of CDL experience in the last 3 years operating equipment of this size or larger
- Minimum age 18
- Valid CDL-A license with a clean driving history
- Preferred: high school diploma or equivalent, and experience handling different trailer types such as tanks, vans or flatbeds
