CDL-A Local Driver — $27/Hour, Home Daily — MI/IN/OH/Canada

Our company in Albion, MI needs a reliable CDL-A driver for local routes across Michigan, Indiana, Ohio, and into Canada. You'll be home every day, running mostly no-touch freight with a mix of live unloads and drop-and-hook stops.

Pay

• $27.00 per hour

• Average gross pay runs around $1,300 per week

• $50 bonus for each Canada crossing

• $25 for each layover

• Actual earnings depend on your route, miles driven, border crossings, layovers, and customer volume

Home time and schedule

• Home daily, running local routes

• Normally works Monday through Friday

• Saturdays rotate in based on customer needs

• Yard drivers should expect possible overtime on Friday nights or Saturdays

• Some layovers may come up

• Routes and load schedules can shift with production and customer demand

What you'll haul

• No-touch freight

• Mix of live unload and drop-and-hook deliveries

• Around 15 stops and 1,700-1,900 miles per week

• Routes cover MI, IN, OH, and dedicated runs into Canada

Equipment

• Day-cab or sleeper tractor

• 53-foot dry van trailers

• No riders permitted

Requirements

• Valid CDL-A license

• Enhanced license needed if you'll be crossing into Canada

• Must be able to handle a day cab or sleeper pulling a 53-foot dry van

• Available to work rotating Saturdays

• Yard drivers need to be open to Friday-night or Saturday overtime when it's needed
