CDL-A Local Delivery Driver — Up to $120K/yr, Home Nightly

Our company is looking for a local CDL-A delivery driver in Knoxville, TN to run assigned routes, hand-unload product, and deliver food and supplies to customers. You'll get to know your customers and their needs as you handle meats, produce, frozen goods, groceries and dry goods.

Pay

• Earn up to $120K/yr, including productivity incentives

Home time

• Most driver trainees run daily routes and get home nightly

• Expect overtime, weekend and holiday work as the business requires

What you'll haul

• Mixed grocery and foodservice products: meats, produce, frozen foods, dry goods and supplies

• Freight is touch freight - you'll lift, push or move product averaging 40-60 pounds, sometimes up to 100 pounds, on a repeated basis

Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL with a driving record that meets the company's insurability standards

• Must be at least 21 years old

• Must pass required employment testing

• Need enough English proficiency to deal with the public, read road signs, answer official questions and complete paperwork

• Preferred: a year of experience delivering to customers, six months using a hand cart or hand truck, six months in food and beverage work, and two years of steady work history
