CDL-A Local Delivery Driver — Up to $10,000 Sign-On Bonus, Home Nightly

Our company needs reliable CDL-A drivers for local delivery routes, handling and unloading products like meats, produce, frozen items, groceries and dry goods for assigned customers. You'll get to know your customers and keep their operations running smoothly.

Pay

Home time

• Most drivers run daily routes and return home each night

• Overtime, weekends and holidays may be needed depending on business demands

What you'll haul

• Mixed grocery products including meats, produce, frozen foods, dry goods and supplies, delivered on set routes

Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years old

• Valid Class A CDL with a driving record that meets the company's insurability standards

• Must pass pre-employment testing

• English proficiency needed to communicate with the public, read road signs, respond to official requests and complete paperwork

• Physical demands include lifting, pushing or moving freight averaging 40-60 pounds, sometimes up to 100 pounds, on a repeated basis

• Preferred: 1 year of delivery experience, 6 months using a hand cart or hand truck, 6 months in food and beverage work, and 2 years of steady employment history
