This local route runs out of Bethlehem, PA, delivering groceries to Stop & Shop stores across Long Island, Staten Island, and the NYC boroughs (excluding Manhattan). You'll be home every night, with steady, year-round freight.

Pay

• Earn between $80,000 and $110,000 per year.

Home time

• You'll be back home every night on this local run, which stays within about 250 miles.

What you'll haul

• You'll drive an automatic day cab pulling a 48' or 53' dry van.

• Expect roughly 2 loads a day, each with 1 to 3 stops.

• Occasionally you'll handle returns, salvage, or backhauls.

• Deliveries regularly take you into NYC-area locations, and training covers driving in the city.

• This is a slip-seat setup, though you may often end up in the same truck.
