About this job
Our company is hiring a CDL-A driver in Stafford, VA to run local delivery routes, dropping refrigerated food shipments at a major convenience store chain. You'll be home every day, with a 5-day workweek and two days off in a row, though weekend and holiday shifts are required.
Pay
- $270.00 to $436.00 per day, depending on which route you're assigned
- Paid weekly
- Paid orientation and training included
Schedule
- Dispatch starts around 4:10 PM, 5:10 PM or 6:10 PM, depending on your route
- Home every day
- 5 days on, 2 consecutive days off
- Weekend and holiday work is required
What you'll haul
- Refrigerated food deliveries for a major convenience store brand
- This is touch freight: you'll handle the product yourself, though there's no sales, staging or merchandising involved
- Routes include 8 to 20 stops per shift, depending on assignment
Requirements
- At least 1 year of verifiable tractor-trailer driving experience
- Touch freight delivery experience is a plus
- Valid Class A license
- Minimum age 21 with a clean driving history
- Able to unload using a hand truck and a ramp or lift gate
