About this job
Our company is looking for a CDL-A delivery driver to run local routes out of Chesterfield, MI, supplying restaurants, schools, hospitals and other customers. You'll be home every day, with early morning start times.
Schedule
- Monday through Friday
- Shifts start between 3-5AM and run until the route is finished
Pay
- Drivers average $80-90K per year
- Guaranteed minimum of $1100 per week
- Daily base pay plus component pay
- Additional pay tied to miles driven, stops made and cases delivered
What you'll haul
You'll deliver food products on local routes, handling cases that weigh up to 100 lbs using a ramp and two-wheel cart.
Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years old
- Class A CDL required at time of hire
- Able to push/pull a two-wheel cart loaded up to 350 lbs
- Able to lift up to 100 lbs repeatedly during a shift
- Must read, write and communicate in English for labels, pick lists, scanners, signage, paperwork and verbal instructions
- Must pass a drug screening (including marijuana) and a background check
- Clean driving record per DOT and company standards
- Must register with the DOT Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse and give electronic consent
- Newly licensed drivers are welcome to apply
