About this job
Our company in Enfield, CT is looking for a CDL-A driver to handle local deliveries to area customers. You will drive, unload and deliver product while operating equipment safely and courteously.
Pay
- $10,000 sign-on bonus
- Progressive pay plan
What you'll do
- Operate a commercial motor vehicle and company equipment to deliver product to local customers
- Unload and deliver goods at each stop
- Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections of your vehicle and equipment
- Safely run powered industrial trucks or material handling equipment, such as an electric pallet jack or hand truck
- Take on other tasks as needed
Requirements
- Valid CDL Class A
- At least 21 years old
- At least 1 year of CDL Class A driving experience, or equivalent experience from military driving
- Able to regularly lift items weighing 25 to 50 pounds, and occasionally up to 170 pounds
- High school diploma or GED preferred, not required
