About this job
Run dedicated intermodal routes out of the Toledo or New Boston drop yard, hauling containers from the Toledo/Columbus rail yards to drops throughout the region. You'll be home every day on a Sunday through Thursday schedule.
Schedule
- Home daily
- Sunday through Thursday
- Shifts run 10-12 hours
What you'll haul
- Drop and hook plus live load/unload work, no-touch freight
- Containers picked up from the Toledo/Columbus rail yards and delivered across the region
- Late model automatic Freightliner Cascadias
Pay
- $0.61 cpm plus load pay and stop pay
- 1,400 dedicated miles per week
- $40 per short haul load
- Weekly average of $1,100+
- Wage range listed as $1,100.00-$1,150.00 per week
Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL with a clean record
- At least 6 months of Class A 53' tractor-trailer experience within the past year (school, dump truck, straight truck and garbage truck time don't count)
- Your CDL address must match the hiring area
- No terminations from your last driving job
- SAP drivers not accepted; hiring includes a hair follicle drug screen
