About this job
Our company has a dedicated local account out of Chicago, Illinois, running for the Target account. You'll be home every day, driving consistent routes with mostly drop-and-hook freight on modern automatic trucks.
Pay
- Pay is CPM-based with bonus opportunities
- Drivers average $1,650 per week
Home time
- Home daily
- Work six days, then take a required 34-hour reset
What you'll haul
- Dedicated Target account freight
- Local round trips capped at 91 miles
- Freight is 95% drop-and-hook, with about 5% pallet jack unloading
- Automatic-transmission trucks pulling 53-foot trailers
- Solo driving role
Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL
- Either 3+ months of tractor-trailer driving in the last 12 months, or qualifying tractor-trailer experience in the last 10 years where your time behind the wheel matches or exceeds time off the road
- Must meet DOT and company hiring standards
