CDL-A Linehaul Truck Driver — Home Daily, $31.10/hr

Our company is hiring a Class A CDL driver for a freight and linehaul position based out of Lynden, WA, running local and regional routes with daily home time. You'll haul bulk commodities such as milk and petroleum products for a long-established company in the Lynden family of businesses.

What you'll haul

• Bulk commodities including milk, petroleum and other essential products

• Tanker or bulk transport trailers on a Class A rig

What you'll do

• Operate your Class A vehicle safely under all federal, state and company rules

• Load, unload and secure cargo for safe hauling

• Do full pre-trip and post-trip inspections and report any mechanical issues

• Run your assigned routes and delivery times

• Keep accurate logs, mileage and delivery paperwork

• Stay in touch with dispatch, customers and your team

• Follow DOT, FMCSA and company safety rules

Schedule

You'll generally work Monday through Friday, though the operation runs 24/7. Be ready to start from either the Mount Vernon or Lynden, WA location depending on business needs.

Pay

• $31.10 per hour plus overtime

• Yearly wage reviews

• $10 per month cell phone allowance

Requirements

• Class A CDL

• Tanker and Doubles/Triples endorsements

• Must be at least 21 years old

• Able to drive across the Canadian border

• Must be able to obtain a TWIC after being hired (the company will help with this)

• About 1 year of commercial driving experience preferred

• Passing a background check and pre-employment drug test, including for marijuana where state law allows; random testing applies to all employees, including marijuana testing for safety-sensitive roles like this one
