CDL-A Linehaul Driver w/ Doubles — Home Daily, $250/Day Guaranteed

This FedEx contractor in Memphis, TN needs a full-time CDL-A driver with a doubles endorsement for a dedicated overnight linehaul route. You'll run between Bessemer and Marietta on a set schedule, returning home every day.

Pay

• Guaranteed $250 for each day you work, with no mileage minimums

• That works out to $1,500 per week, or $78,000 per year on a 6-day schedule

• Paid every Friday

• $500 bonus for signing on

Schedule

• 5 to 6 nights per week, overnight runs only

• Dispatch window is 9:30 to 11:30 PM, and you need to arrive an hour early to get ready

• Shifts run up to 11 hours

• Weekend work is common

• This schedule won't leave room for a second daytime job elsewhere

What you'll haul

You'll run a dedicated nightly route, with consistent dispatching and no mileage quotas to hit. The route includes pre-trip checks, hooking up a dolly, building and loading your set, driving from Bessemer to Marietta, unhooking and rehooking, then returning to Bessemer for your post-trip.

Requirements

• Valid CDL-A license

• Doubles endorsement required; training is available if you need it

• At least 1 year of verifiable trucking experience

• Able to lift 100 lbs and handle trailer dollies in the FedEx lot

• Must pass a background check and drug screen

• Must meet all FedEx driver qualification standards
