About this job
Our company needs a Class A CDL linehaul driver to run a regional route between Orlando and Miami, five days a week, reporting to dispatch at the home station.
Pay
You're paid by the mile.
What you'll haul
You'll operate a company vehicle on a set regional run, handling air freight and hazmat shipments. You'll load freight using a forklift and make sure weight is distributed properly.
What the job involves
- Checking in with dispatch about loads, paperwork and route details
- Running pre-trip and post-trip equipment inspections every day
- Logging proof of delivery using the company's technology and paperwork
- Following daily safety practices to avoid accidents
- Keeping up with freight handling and safety procedures
Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL from your home state
- At least 1 year of experience driving a tractor-trailer
- At least 1 year of air freight experience
- At least 1 year of hazmat experience
- Basic knowledge of hazmat rules
- Clean driving record over the last 3 years
- Able to pass a background check and drug screen
- Must follow DOT and FMCSA rules
