About this job
Our company needs a Class A linehaul driver to run between Denver, CO and New Castle, CO. You'll work Monday through Friday with weekends free, hauling freight on a dedicated route and getting home every day.
Pay
- Flat rate of $362.92 per day
- $5,000 sign-on bonus
Route and schedule
- Denver, CO to New Castle, CO linehaul run
- Monday-Friday shift, home daily with weekends off
- Dedicated route with steady, predictable miles and hours
What you'll do
- Pull pre-trip and post-trip inspections on your rig
- Hook and drop trailers at customer and terminal stops as dispatch directs
- Keep shipping paperwork in order and ready for DOT checks, making sure the right documents travel with each load
- Drive the tractor-trailer combo over long stretches of highway
Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL
- Minimum age 21
- At least 1 year of commercial driving experience
- Clean record: no DUI or DWI in the last 3 years, and no more than 3 traffic violations in that span
- Hazmat and Tanker endorsements required, or willingness to get them (renewal costs reimbursed)
- Must pass a pre-employment skills test
- Able to get in and out of the cab repeatedly, lift and carry freight up to 40 pounds for up to 20 feet, and handle trailer coupling tasks (landing gear, fifth wheel, pintle hooks, safety chains, cargo doors) along with basic fluid checks
