CDL-A Line Driver — Up to $0.79/Mile

Our company is hiring line drivers to move freight trailers between terminals and meet points, mostly during evenings and overnight hours. This is a hooking and hauling role only, no freight handling involved. Schedule runs Monday through Friday with night shifts, and weekend or night availability may be needed.

Pay

• Mileage pay ranges from $0.70 to $0.79 per mile, with an added $0.03 per mile when running triples.

• You're paid for every drop, hook, and chaining task, plus fuel and wait time.

• Hourly equivalent runs $29.95 to $33.86 depending on experience.

What you'll haul

• Tractor trailer combinations moved safely between terminals or designated meet points.

• Work includes hooking and unhooking trailers, chaining up in bad weather, and handling varying road conditions.

• No freight handling required.

Requirements

• Minimum age 21.

• Class A CDL with Hazmat, Tanker, and Double/Triple endorsements.

• At least one year of verifiable commercial driving experience with comparable equipment.

• Doubles/triples and chaining experience helpful but not mandatory.

• Current DOT medical card required.

• Clean driving history: no DUI, reckless driving, or failed drug/alcohol test within the past 3 years.

• Solid communication skills with customers, coworkers, and dispatch, plus basic English reading, writing, and speaking ability.
