CDL-A Line Driver — Home Daily, Doubles Required, up to $0.79/mi

Our company is hiring a regional line driver out of Olympia, WA to run tractor trailer combinations between terminals and meet points. You'll be home every night, working with drop-and-hook freight only, and doubles experience is a must.

Pay

• Mileage pay runs $0.70 to $0.79 per mile, with an added $0.03 per mile when you're pulling triples.

• You're paid for drops, hooks, chaining, fuel stops, and wait time.

• Hourly equivalent lands between $29.95 and $33.86, depending on experience.

Home time

You'll be back home every night after your run.

What you'll haul

No-touch, drop-and-hook freight only, moved between terminals and meet points throughout the Oak Harbor network across Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Nevada, Utah, Arizona, and California. This is a line driver role with the company, which has been running regional freight for over a century.

Requirements

• 21 years old or older.

• Class A CDL with Hazmat, Tanker, and Double/Triples endorsements.

• A minimum of one year of verifiable commercial driving experience on similar equipment.

• Prior doubles/triples and chaining experience is a plus, though not mandatory.

• Current DOT medical card.

• Clean driving history: no DUI, reckless driving, or failed drug/alcohol test within the past 3 years.

• Comfortable communicating with dispatch, managers, coworkers, and customers, with basic English skills for reading, writing, and speaking.

• Able to chain up and handle rough weather or road conditions, and available for night or weekend shifts if the schedule calls for it.
