About this job
Our company is looking for CDL-A contractors, solo or as a team, to run under a lease purchase model. You pick your own loads, lanes, and time off, with freight available out of 19 core locations.
Pay
Solo contractors typically bring in $3,000-$4,000 per week, while teams average $8,000-$12,000 per week paid to the truck, plus an extra $0.20/mi on published rates. Base pay runs $1.05-$3.50 CPM. All figures can shift based on job type, location, experience, performance, and company discretion, so confirm exact numbers with a recruiter. Note this is gross revenue to your business, not a guaranteed driver wage.
Home time
You set your own schedule and decide how long to stay out, though our company suggests at least two weeks at a time. There's no forced dispatch - you choose the freight and routes that work for you.
What you'll haul
Freight is 100% no-touch, mostly drop and hook with trailers already loaded and no appointments needed, so you spend less time waiting around and more time driving.
Lease options
You can move from company driver to owner with a down payment starting at $1,500. Lease trucks through partners such as Lone Mountain, Arrow, and TEL, with payments starting around $400 per week and terms ranging from 30 to 84 months, so you can pick equipment and a plan that matches your budget.
Support
Our company handles billing, compliance, and collections, and you can operate under their DOT authority at no cost, which can reduce your insurance and plate expenses. If you need a teammate, they can help pair you with one.
Benefits
- Affordable medical and dental insurance
- Referral bonuses: $1,000 for solo drivers, $4,000 for teams
- Fuel discounts through partner programs
- Pet and rider policies allowed
Requirements
- Valid CDL-A license
- At least 1 year of verifiable driving experience
- Inward-facing camera required in the truck
